Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards DJ Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Posted on 11 March 2012.

Grown on a block of cabernet sauvignon planted in 1973. Unusual to see a varietal cabernet under the Oliver’s Taranga name.

Strong wine. Warm flavoured. intense blackcurrant and blackberry, dried herbs and chocolate. Lots of sweet fruit impact; tannin to match. Long. A wine for a Big Red occasion. Plenty of dark-fruited substance. Rated : 93 Points
Alcohol : 14.5%
Price : $50
Closure : Screwcap
Drink : 2014 - 2019+
