Premium Wines | 2008 Shiraz
Jeremy Oliver, Australian Wine Annual 2010, 93 points
A powerful, robust and warm, spirit dark red with layers of sumptuous fruit, richness and depth. Its smoky, meaty aromas of dark plums, blackberries, mocha and dark chocolates are backed by spicy nuances of cloves and licorice. Deep, dark and slightly spirit, its velvet-smooth palate presents marginally sour-edged McLaren Vale shiraz fruit handsomely cloaked with some pretty smart savoury oak, finishing long and minty, with a lingering mineral aspect.

McLaren Vale - Estate Grown
Deep, dark maroon
Lifted dark chocolate, sweet fruit cake, plums and a spicy oak background.
Spice and dark chocolate continue through on the palate. The fruit is powerful and up front, giving a beautiful rich coating on the mouth. Fine tannins round out the wine. Not for the faint hearted!!
