Small Batch Wines | 2009 Grenache
Jeremy Oliver, Australian Wine Annual 2012, 91 points
Genuinely bright and fresh, with a deep core of almost jubube-like plum and cherry fruit lifted by spicy dark floral aromas, harmoniously backed by nuances of briar and blackberry pastille, blueberries and raspberries and framed by fine, drying and gritty tannins. It’s faintly raisined, but long and juicy, finishing soft and savoury

Pretty floral and forest floor notes abound. Cherry spice, cinnamon and nutmeg jump from the glass.
Medium bodied on the palate, the spiced cherry characters follow through. Adding to the complex palate are soft round tannins and a pleasing earthy character. Great luncheon wine.
