Small Batch Wines | 2010 Grenache
Jeremy Oliver, Jan 2011
‘an elegant, slowly maturing grenache with a fiery, spicy perfume of blue flowers, red berries, blood plums and dark cherries. Medium to full-bodied, it’s long and even, with a smooth, juicy presence of dark plums and blackberries underpinned by fine, crunchy tannins and restrained oak. It finishes with vibrancy and freshness and focus.’ 92 points

Pretty floral and forest floor notes abound. Cherry spice, cinnamon and nutmeg jump from the glass.
Medium bodied on the palate, the spiced cherry characters follow through. Adding to the complex palate are soft round tannins and a pleasing earthy character.
