Small Batch Wines  |  2011 Vermentino

Mike Bennie, The Wine Front, June 2011, 90 points

Brine and cucumber get a leave-you-breathless slap from lemon blossom and lemongrass aromatics. There’s a bit of a quartzy mineral hit in the bouquet too. Palate has the expected slender impact, great briny character again and a tangy, lemon/lime citrus finish that lingers with some buzzy acidity. Refreshing and squeaky clean, it’s a great drink and effortlessly simple to enjoy. A no brainer; bring on summer.
