Small Batch Wines | 2009 Grenache
Nick Stock, The Good Wine Guide 2012, 92 points
This is an elegant, honest and soulful little grenache from the small producer, delivered in a earthy, balanced style that’s made for early drinking. The nose has bright red-fruit aromas, a little spice and liquorice; the palate delivers impressive pure re-berry fruits, lithe tannins and deep yet elegant finish. Terrific balance here too

Pretty floral and forest floor notes abound. Cherry spice, cinnamon and nutmeg jump from the glass.
Medium bodied on the palate, the spiced cherry characters follow through. Adding to the complex palate are soft round tannins and a pleasing earthy character. Great luncheon wine.
