Terms and Conditions for Oliver’s Taranga “Bearded Bottle” Promotion

  1. Information on how to win & prizes form part of these terms & conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
  2. An “Eligible Entrant” is a resident of Australia who is 18 years of age or older. Only Eligible Entrants may claim the prize. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  3. The Oliver’s Taranga “Bearded Bottle” Promotion Period has the following important times and dates:
    1. Promotion Period begins on Thursday 01/11/12 and finishes on Monday 31/12/12.
    2. The Prize Claim must be received by the Promoter by no later than Monday 31/12/12 by 5pm Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (“AEDST”).
  4. In order to participate in this Promotion it is necessary to purchase a dozen (12 bottles) Oliver’s Taranga 2010 Shiraz from cellar door or via mail order direct from the winery. Purchase from cellar door or via mail order 1 dozen (12 bottles) of Oliver’s Taranga 2010 Shiraz and check the box to see if you can find the BEARDED BOTTLE inside to win a “Once in a Lifetime, Money can’t buy, McLaren Vale Experience”. If you find the BEARDED BOTTLE, you will win the prize instantly. Purchases from third parties are not eligible to win the prize.
  5. Once a entrant finds a BEARDED BOTTLE, they should contact Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards as soon as possible to claim their prize via phone: 08 83238498 or email to corrina@oliverstaranga.com.
  6. The winning BEARDED BOTTLE may be consumed by the finder as it is not needed in order to claim the instant prize. However the original bottle must be presented to the Promoter in order to claim the instant prize. Winners must keep their BEARDED BOTTLE safe in order to claim their prize before the Prize Claim Expiry Date. Claims can be made to the promoter via phone 08 83238498 or email to corrina@oliverstaranga.com.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all prize claims and reserves the right to disqualify any individual claimant or entrant or group of entrants for tampering with the prize claim process or entry process, including but not limited to fraudulently claiming the prize, providing false entry information, or for submitting an entry that is not otherwise in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry. In the event that the Promoter finds evidence of tampering in the prize verification process or entry process, in addition to declaring any or all claims or entries made by that entrant invalid, the Promoter may in its complete discretion preclude that entrant from participation in any or all future promotions of the Promoter.
  8. The prize to be awarded will be as follows:
    1. The winner and 5 friends will be flown from their state of residence to McLaren Vale for three (3) days, and two (2) nights. All flights, travel, accommodation, food, drink and entertainment expenses will be covered by the promoter. A special 5-course dinner will be held at Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards in McLaren Vale, overnight accommodation at a premium McLaren Vale provider, a morning of fishing with Don Oliver off the McLaren Vale coast, Lunch at the famous Star of Greece restaurant, an afternoon bi-plane flight across the McLaren Vale region, then dinner at the famous FINO restaurant in Willunga, overnight again at a premium McLaren Vale provider, then a guided tour of the Willunga Farmers Market, including breakfast and an afternoon of wine tasting around the region. Then flights back to the state of residence. The date of the ‘Once in a Lifetime, Money can’t buy McLaren Vale Experience’ is flexible depending upon the winners requirements, but must be taken by 31/12/2013.

  10. Total prize pool is valued at A$4000 to $5000 (ie. the total prize pool value will be determined according to the state of residence of the winner)
  11. As a condition of winning this promotion, an Entrant consents to, the Promoter using the Entrant’s entry, name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing the promotion (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The Entrant agrees that the Entrant will participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the promotion as requested by the Promoter and its agents.
  12. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  13. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by war, terrorism, infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
    If a prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu, subject to state regulatory authority approval.
  15. The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy alcohol in moderation. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the ‘low risk drinking’ guideline recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines which states: for healthy men and women, drinking no more than two (2) standard drinks on any day reduces your risk of harm from alcohol‐related disease or injury over a lifetime. Drinking no more than four (4) standard drinks on a single occasion reduces the risk of alcohol‐related injury arising from that occasion.
