Vintage Notes:

Tempranillo is fast becoming a preferred variety in McLaren Vale, with its more savoury notes and rustic charm. We use old French oak only on this wine, letting the varietal characteristics stand out. 2010 was a spectacular year- one of the best of the decade. After a few years of heat waves and droughts, 2010 was a perfect season with a mild growing season, rain at all the right times and no heat shocks. Only a very small parcel was made in 2010- so be quick!!
