What a day!!
We woke to a sunny, if chilly day yesterday, and it was perfect for celebrating the Sea & Vines festival.
Loads of crew came to enjoy our wines, the brilliant food put on by Ben and his team at The Barn, the awesome cooking demos by wonderchef Marion, and the groovy tunes by Swap Sides, our band.
Throughout the day, the band had most of the crowd up on their feet and dancing. It was such a great atmosphere. I think that the newly released 2011 Fiano and Vermentino went down a treat with the yummy oysters The Barn provided, and the Grenache and Shiraz were big hits with the Butter Chicken.
Looking forward to next year, and a day off today to rest our weary legs. Think I will pop over to d’Arenberg and Leconfield later today for a glass or two.
Will add more pics soon as I get around download the camera- and watch out on our facebook page, to see if you are captured with a ‘Banished’ photo!
