Final Day of GFWS Sydney Blog 95

keeping ones energy up is a must

Whoa, what a blast of a few days we have just had in Sydney. This is the first time that Oliver’s Taranga has participated in the Good Food and Wine Show and I have to say it certainly wont be the last! Thousands of people served, hundreds of conversations had, loads of wine poured and lots of new people introduced to us and our wines.

So what were the hits for us?

Moscato (as always) was hugely popular and this year Nicky has coined a new term for Moscato “Menscato” because of all the lovely guys who liked our moscato!

Our new Vermentino went down hugely well – as did the new release 2011 Fiano.

The Banished (our fortified grenache) well, we sold out of that by midday on the first day! Thankfully Amanda from our Kooki PR agency was heading up to Sydney today and she brought some spare bottles with her from the cellar door. She also brough up a heap more of our mail sign up forms as we ran out of those too!

All in all a very successful few days – looking forward to the next one
