Small Batch Wines | 2009 Grenache
Angus Hughson, Gourmet Traveller Wine, Apr/May 2011
“A very silky and perfumed example with layers of subtle, almost floral red-fruit characters given some serious interest by earth and spice. Pure and supple with fine grainy tannins, this is made for drinking over the next three years.”

Pretty floral and forest floor notes abound. Cherry spice, cinnamon and nutmeg jump from the glass.
Medium bodied on the palate, the spiced cherry characters follow through. Adding to the complex palate are soft round tannins and a pleasing earthy character. Great luncheon wine.
