Oliver's Taranga vineyards has a selection of alternative grapes, from sagrantino and tempranillo to fiano and vermentino. This wine has a touch of stone fruit, pine needles, Mediterranean herbs and saltbush while the fuller palate reveals a lovely creamy, nutty texture, plus tangy acidity with ginger and pepper notes. Love it. And, tasting this, I crave summer with a bowl of salty fried shrimp.

Lifted freshness through the palate with lovely powdery tannin and mouth-watering natural acidity. Lemon grass and kaffir lime, with plenty of texture.
