Small Batch Wines | 2008 Grenache
Jesse Lewis, Good Drop, November 2010, 92 points
I found aromas of raspberries, plum, tar, pepper and cherry cough syrup. The bouquet is fairly distinctive and I kept my nose in the glass for a long time. There’s no sign of confection, as you can sometimes expect from South Australian Grenache. On the contrary, the palate is earthy with some nutmeg and pepper spice. Persistent length. Love this style of Grenache.
