Small Batch Wines | 2009 Grenache
Ken Gargett, July 2011, 92 points
From an ever-improving producer from McLaren Vale, this is a delicious grenache. Dense, richly flavoured, with good length, nice balance and fine tannins. Vibrant notes of spice, and an attractive mix of blackberry and raspberry

Pretty floral and forest floor notes abound. Cherry spice, cinnamon and nutmeg jump from the glass.
Medium bodied on the palate, the spiced cherry characters follow through. Adding to the complex palate are soft round tannins and a pleasing earthy character. Great luncheon wine.
