Premium Wines | 1996 Shiraz
Robert M. Parker, Wine Advocate – Issue 127, 94/100
The 1996 Shiraz reveals mature aromas and flavors of creosote, melted chocolate, and gorgeous blackberry and cassis. Terrific body imbued with lofty glycerin, alcohol, and extract, it is less evolved than the 1997 as well as bigger, richer and brawnier in the mouth. There is not a hard edge to be found in this accessible Shiraz. It promises to evolve for another 10-15+ years.

100% McLaren Vale
Deep red with brick hues.
This wine has a powerful yet vibrant bouquet of ripe berry, plum jam, spice and vanillin oak.
The palate is rich and complex with deep, full fruit characters of black plum and spice. The full mid palate flavour is robust, persistent and shows balanced oak and berry characters combined with rich, soft tannin.
