Vintage Notes:

Cold early, followed by some extreme heat in February.  A strong vintage with excellent longevity.

Winemaking Notes:

This is our first Oliver's Taranga wine to be sealed by Stelvin (Screw) cap, which will ensure that the wine is kept in perfect condition during ageing.

This wine is part of our 2014 Corrina's Wine Extravaganza 6 pack release.  Here is how the 2004 is looking now..............................

Finer chocolate notes, licorice and meaty char.  Lovely soft tea like tannins and berry pie characters on the palate.  A finer example, yet still with oodles of length and flavour. 18/20

    A wonderfully old-fashioned- in the best sense of the word- red from one of McLaren Vale's rising stars. Being a year or two older than many other current release wines gives this one a warm, earthy, damp-soil, chocolately richness.
