History

With 100 ha of premium grapevines on the Taranga property, the Oliver family has over 50 blocks representing different grape varieties, clones, soil types & vine ages.

Aroma

Blackberry, mulberry and blackcurrant, with graphite, bay leaf, black olive and dried mint. Add dark chocolate, baking spice and a cheeky hint of peppery salumi and you’ve got Cabernet and Shiraz happily holding hands.

Palate

Big, juicy fruit sweetness up front, followed by layers of mulberry, blackcurrant and dark chocolate. Fine, crunchy tannins provide structure, while toasty French oak and savoury spice add warmth and complexity. The Shiraz brings the generosity, the Cabernet brings the backbone, and together they make a pretty bloody good team. Long, sleek and delicious.

Wine & Vintage

The 2024 harvest started with a wet and cool spring, leading into a dry and consistently warm growing season. A rare beast, the Corrina’s is a co-fermented, field blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, made only in years when both varieties reach optimum ripeness at harvest.

The Year That Continued

2024 was a year that our family grew by two. Both Sam and Jared (brothers and 6th gen family members) and their partners welcomed precious little girls. Frankie and Clementine have stolen everyone’s hearts and have added to the seventh-generation cohort that includes Corrina’s kids, 24yo Miah (now working for the business in content production) and 16yo Koen, and Brioni’s boys, 9yo Hugo and 7yo Kingsley. Our zoom meetings now often have a small assistant on the calls.
