Blog 84: shin and shiraz – shintastic at the adelaide central market (photo blog)
This past Friday Adelaide Central Market was taken over by shiraz makers (including us) and BEEF SHIN!
The atmosphere was awesome with queues and crowds for the liquid and solid components of the event – with many people marvelling at Richard Gunner (Feast! fine Foods) and Tom Reid (Chef at Mantra on King William) as they served up the beef shin on (a very buttery) mash… (I don’t know how much potato mash in total was made but Richard told our PR friend Amanda that there was a good 3kg of butter in it! No doubt it was delish)..
