Beginning in 1841 with the “first beard”, William Oliver, the present day Oliver’s Taranga clan comes from a long line of beards.
In recognition and to pay tribute to the past mutton chops, goatees and stubble, Oliver’s Taranga has created the story of the BEARDED BOTTLE.
“It’s a funny little story that is rooted in our history, Being of a gender that doesn’t enable beard growth, the bearded bottle is our way to carry on the tradition of our ancestors,” says winemaker Corrina Wright.
“We had so much fun shooting it, just laughing and laughing, we hope that is the response it gets when people watch the finished product!” she said.
